(More customer reviews)I got this machine for christmas I am just a beginner and the instructions that came with it was great. Took me through all the steps. I love the extras that come with this machine. It IS light weight and I have had no problems with it at all. The foot pedal is a little short but besides that great machine!!

The Singer 132Q is a compact sized machine with all the features of a larger machine making it perfect for the beginner, apartment/dorm dweller, or for the machine to take to class.Basic features are push-button reverse sewing, two needle positions, easy threading, automatic needle tension, electronically controlled foot pedal, and a sewing light. The 32-stitch functions include the basic construction stitches (seaming, hems and over edging) to creative decorative stitches (satin stitch, crescent stitch, and applique), and a 5-step buttonhole. You also have the option of using the extended work surface to aid in supporting the fabric of larger projects or using the free-arm (by sliding off the work table) for getting into smaller spaces (like hemming sleeves). Included with your machine will be an instruction manual (in English & Spanish), pack of needles, bobbins, standard pressure foot, special purpose foot, buttonhole foot, zipper foot, blind stitch foot, an extended work surface, a dust cover, 2 screwdrivers, seam ripper, 2 spool pins & felts.
